History began in 1918 when Longina met the troubadour in Havana, never imagining it would make her famous forever. Such a meeting took place at the home of Maria Teresa Vera, one of the greats of the trova. She introduced them, and a little while later Corona said she was going to write her a song. They met again in the same house of Maria Teresa. It was October 15, 1918 and they celebrated the singer’s onomastic. Corona delivered to her muse the song she inspired him.
